Welcome to the American Society of Appraisers' National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) 7-Hour Update audio program.  ASA and other sponsoring organizations of the Appraisal Foundation have established accreditation and continuing education requirements relating the standards set forth by USPAP.  ASA also recognizes the pressures you face to meet yet another mandated requirement.  This audio program was developed in response to that recognition.

Creating a practical and convenient USPAP course that can be used by appraisers of varying disciplines presented a unique challenge.  We believe we have met that challenge.  The lectures and student manual have been designed with all appraisal disciplines in mind.*

Continuing education requirements for individuals holding ASA accreditation varies by discipline.  Please contact ASA Accreditation Services for specific information pertaining to your discipline. A “Uniform Request for Reaccredidation Credit” will be emailed to you after purchasing the program. Please complete this form and submit it to ASA Accreditation Services after you complete the USPAP update program.

*Important Note: The Appraisal Foundation and ASA have changed their policy regarding the 7-hour USPAP course. Current information on ASA USPAP requirements may be found at http://www.appraisers.org/ProfessionalStandards/USPAPRequirements.aspx.  This course may not be accepted by many state real property licensing boards and may not be accepted for CPE credit through other organizations (e.g. NASBA). It is your responsibility as the student to contact the licensing authority in your state to make certain that the USPAP home study has been approved and will be accepted for credit.
